The Fountain gastropub is situated in the beautiful cathedral city of wells, within walking distance from the cathedral and other historic attractions.

Owned by Tessa and her daughter Meg who are ever present in the kitchen and everyday running of the business, with their main focus being preparing authentic, fresh dishes using only the best local and seasonal ingredients. Both our pub classics and fine dining dishes are prepared with passion and a personal touch. 

Our gastropub is situated in a character Georgian building with a quirky, cosy interior reflecting our South African heritage.
